By a presidential decree, Komil Allamjonov was appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, announced the presidential spokesman Sherzod Asadov.
He will be in charge of the study of public opinion and information-related policies. Sherzod Asadov retained the post of deputy head of the Presidential Administration – the presidential spokesman.
Komil Allamjonov, 38, graduated from the State Institute of Arts and Culture (2006) and Tashkent State University of Economy (2010).
Since January 2020, he has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Foundation for the Support and Development of National Mass Media.
Prior to that, since November 2018, he was the director of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration (formed in February 2019 on the basis of the Uzbek Press and Information Agency).
Previously, he worked as the spokesman to the president and concurrently as deputy head of the presidential administration.
In 2009-2013 he worked as the head of the information service - press secretary of the chairman of the State Tax Committee, in 2005-2009 - acting head of the information service of the State Tax Committee.
He is the owner of Milliy TV channel, founder of Avtotest driving school and Autodriver Study examination center, Soliq Info (Tax Info) newspaper, BEM accounting program and other projects.
