On July 24, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received congratulations on the occasion of his birthday from foreign leaders, his press service reported. He held telephone conversations with Presidents of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, Russia Vladimir Putin, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

“Foreign leaders warmly congratulated the head of our state on his birthday, wishing the president with sincere wishes of good health, prosperity and great success in implementing the reforms strategy aimed at radically improving the living standards of the population, building the democratic society, modernizing the economy and strengthening the international authority of the country,” the press service writes.

The pragmatic and proactive foreign policy of the Uzbek leader was especially noted in the conversations, "allowing us to noticeably raise the level of our country's partnership with the countries of the world and multilateral structures in a short time," the report says.

The head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov offered two horses to the President of Uzbekistan on the ocassion of the 65th birthday of Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He shared a video of congratulations on Instagram.

“I love horses very much and I know you do too. Therefore, on behalf of all the people and personally on my own behalf, I decided to give you horses. I sincerely wish you good health, long life, as well as peace, stability and prosperity to fraternal Uzbekistan!” Ramzan Kadyrov said.

The head of Chechnya described the President of Uzbekistan as "a modest and hospitable person, and at the same time a wise and far-sighted politician."

On July 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding Shavkat Mirziyoyev the Alexander Nevsky Order for great merits in strengthening friendship and cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan."
