The State Statistics Committee on Monday unveiled information on how many tourists and from which country visited Uzbekistan in June.
Reportedly, 493.9 thousand foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in June 2022.
This figure increased by 307.2 thousand, or 2.6 times compared to the same period last year.
In June, citizens of the following countries visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes:
- Kazakhstan - 178.1 thousand people;
- Kyrgyzstan - 123.3 thousand;
- Tajikistan - 113.2 thousand;
- Russia - 53.4 thousand;
- Turkey - 7.3 thousand;
- Germany - 2.2 thousand;
- USA - 1.5 thousand;
- Korea - 1.7 thousand;
- India - 1.5 thousand;
- Israel - 1.1 thousand;
- Great Britain - 0.8 thousand;
- Belarus - 0.9 thousand;
- France - 0.6 thousand;
- Italy - 0.6 thousand;
- Spain - 0.4 thousand.
