At the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov today arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.
At the Tashkent international airport, the Turkmen leader was welcomed by the Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov and Khokim of Tashkent Jakhongir Artykhodzhaev.
“After a warm meeting, the cortege with the delegation went to the Yangi Ozbekiston park, where the President of Turkmenistan laid flowers at the Independence Monument. Serdar Berdimuhamedov was familiarized in detail with the concept of architectural solutions and the features of the sculptural composition of the complex,” the message says.
It was noted that a visit to this ensemble has become a traditional item in the program of stay of distinguished guests in Uzbekistan.
