Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the speaker of Iranian parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. According to the president’s spokesman, the parties considered the ways to further expand cooperation between the two countries, as well as the development of regional cooperation.
Earlier, Nuriddinjon Ismoilov, speaker of the Legislative Chamber, met with a delegation led by the chairman of the Islamic Council of Iran in the lower house of parliament.
During the meeting, issues of expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran, enriching it with new content, and exchanging experience in the field of lawmaking were discussed.
