Vladimir Norov noted that the participation of the Taliban in the conference "does not mean that we recognize them."
“We want to communicate to the current authorities via this conference... This is aimed at ensuring that they perform their international obligations, which they accepted at the Tashkent meeting, and the agreements signed there,” he stressed. about. minister.
“Our positions — that of Uzbekistan and Russia, and neighboring countries are the same: the Taliban movement must perform its obligations, create an inclusive government that includes all political, ethnic and religious groups in this country,” he added.
The international conference on Afghanistan will be held in Tashkent on July 25-26, and delegations from more than 20 countries will take part in it.
