Uzbekistan self-employed will be able to provide taxi services from September 1 of this year through the end of 2024. This is stated in the relevant resolution of the head of state.
To obtain a taxi driver's license, an individual will need to apply on the governmental services portal and pay 300,000 soums.
In addition, the requirement under which a license to operate a taxi could be obtained if the age of car did not exceed 10 years will be abolished.
Also, the frequency of mandatory medical and technical examination is established once a year.
From September 1 of this year, notarization of transport rent agreements between citizens and legal entities licensed for passenger transportation will not be required. At the same time, these dela shall be subject to electronic registration with the tax authorities.
