Today, June 24, Uzhydromet issued an emergency statement. Reportedly, on June 25-29, hot air will move from the regions of Iran to Uzbekistan through Turkmenistan, which will bring the air temperature on:
- June 25-28 in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm province up to 42-44°.
- June 25-29 in Bukhara, Navoi, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya provinces up to 43-45°;
- June 26-29 in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya provinces and provinces of the Ferghana Valley up to 40-42 °.
While, in places across the country, the wind is expected to reach 15-20 m/s, in some areas with dusty snow.
