The 56th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, organized by the Presidential Agency for Educational Institutions, will be held in Tashkent on May 9-16.
Students from about 20 countries including Austria, UAE, China, Russia, Turkey, Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Macedonia, Azerbaijan and Armenia will attend the 56th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, the Presidential Agency for Educational Institutions said.
The annual International Mendeleev Olympiad was founded in 1948 and is one of the most prestigious Olympics in the world.
Note: 55th International Mendeleev Olympiad was held online due to a pandemic, in which Uzbek students won 1 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals.
