Uzbek authorities will send business delegations to Germany, Spain, Korea, China and Bangladesh in April to hold talks with major brands such as H&M, Zara (Inditex), C&A, Falke.
According to Shahzoda Kochkarova, PR manager of UzTextile Industry Association, in 2022 it is planned to supply textile products worth $ 4.3 billion to foreign markets.
"27 international conventions have been ratified for access to the EU market, and the GSP + preference system has provided duty-free access to Uzbek textile products," the statement said.
Reportedly, headquarters of the association was set up with the support of the Association of Textile Industry and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade. In January-March 2022, 796 billion soums of VAT were refunded 384 enterprises.
