The Cabinet of Ministers posted the Introduction of modern information technologies in the activities of the patrol and police services resolution for public input.

From January 1, 2023, the law enforcement agencies will gradually introduce the system of "E-patrol", with the E-patrol system will be launched with an aim to check identity and background on the spot and thus getting rid of procedure of taking individuals to police departments.

Regulations on the procedure for electronic identification of citizens and other suspects suspected of committing offenses in public places shall be approved in accordance with the Annex by the staff of the patrol-post service, which provides for the following:

Procedure for using the "e-patrol" system;

  • procedure of use of technical resources recording the actions of patrol and police officers;
  • procedure for recording and storing information recorded by body cameras;
  • obligations of officers when using the "e-patrol" system.
