Abdulaziz Kamilov is undergoing medical treatment abroad. Over the past ten days, he had been treated at the Central Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Tashkent for some chronic illness, the Foreign Ministry said.
As per the conclusion of the medical facility, due to the need for complex examination Abdulaziz Kamilov departed abroad to get appropriate therapy.
On March 17, the Minister of Foreign Affairs made a report at the regular plenary session of the Senate, where, the Foreign Minister spoke about the situation in Ukraine.
Abdulaziz Kamilov noted that the war in Ukraine caused serious concern in Uzbekistan and stressed that Uzbekistan recognized the Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“Uzbekistan will not recognize the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics,” the Foreign Minister added.
