According to the State Statistics Committee, as of February 1, 2022, the number of foreign-invested enterprises registered in Uzbekistan topped 13.8 thousand, of which 13.4 thousand are operating.
Reportedly, the number of foreign-invested enterprises increased by 1,474 to the same date last year.
Top-5 countries with most foreign-invested enterprises:
- Russia - 2,331;
- China - 1,948;
- Turkey – 1,912;
- Kazakhstan – 1,071;
- Korea Republic - 900.
Number of established foreign-invested enterprises in January-October 2021 by country:
- Turkey - 321;
- Russia - 296;
- China - 219;
- Kazakhstan - 166;
- Korea Republic - 80.
