The Senate will convene for the twenty-third plenary session on February 3, where, the senators are scheduled to discuss the following Bills:
- Geographical Indications;
- Amending some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
- Amending some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the adoption of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan the state of emergency;
- Amending some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the strengthening of the protection of objects of material cultural heritage;
- Amending some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the further strengthening of guarantees of the rights of citizens and business entities;
- Amending the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility.
- Ratification of the International Labor Organization Convention No. 167 on safety and health in construction (Geneva, June 20, 1988);
- Ratification of the Agreement on Cooperation of the CIS Member States to Prevent and Suppress the Use of False Trademarks and Geographical Indications (Minsk, May 28, 2021)
Senators also plan to hear a government report on the implementation of the state program in the Year of Support for Youth and Promotion of Public Health, information from the Deputy Prime Minister on the introduction of water-saving technologies in agriculture and the effectiveness of the use of funds allocated for these purposes, as well as information from the Minister of Justice on the state of the rule-making activities and law enforcement practice of state bodies and organizations in 2021.
In addition, the senators will discuss sending parliamentary inquiries to the Cabinet of Ministers on the state of ensuring the safety of vehicles equipped with gas cylinders in the country and the implementation of legislation in this area, as well as on the development of national content for young people and minors on the global Internet information network, culture of their use of social networks and protection from harmful information.
