Yet another conversation between the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took place on January 20, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.
The heads of state reviewed topical aspects of the bilateral agenda and regional cooperation and focused on the expansion of cooperation, including the advancing the joint projects in the field of trade and logistics, engineering, energy, agriculture, chemistry and pharmaceuticals, textile and food industries, and other priority areas.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed support for the measures taken by the President of Kazakhstan to stabilize the situation in the country.
The counterparts also exchanged views on the ways to ensure regional security and discussed the issues on the agenda of the Central Asia Summit scheduled for this year.
