The net profit of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Kombinat (NMMC) in 2021 is expected at 11.3 trillion soums, or US$ 1.04 billion, the company said in a report.
Reportedly, the NMMC produced 54.2 trillion soums, or US$ 5 billion worth of goods in 2021.
Last year, the plant disbursed US$ 621.1 million under the investment program and created more than 3,400 new jobs. As part of the localization program, 442.2 billion soums worth of goods were produced and 4.2 trillion soums worth of goodswere purchased as part of inter-sectoral industrial cooperation.
In addition, the implementation of production cost reduction measures were achieved at 103.4% which allowed to reduce the cost of production by about 1.1 trillion soums (6.7%).
