On January 11, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov attended the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in a conference call format.
The foreign ministries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Hungary and Turkmenistan discussed the current situation in Kazakhstan.
The parties reportedly reiterated their firm support and solidarity with the people and leadership of Kazakhstan, and expressed confidence in the restoration of peace and stability in the country in the near future.
Joint statement was adopted following the meeting.
