A government decree was issued on measures to further improve the activities of the republican center of forensic examination named after Kh. Suleimanova under the Ministry of Justice and advancing expertise in the field of forensic medical examination.
According to the document, laboratories of human DNA forensic biological testing will be set up in the Fergana, Surkhandarya and Khorezm regional branches of the republican center, and in Samarkand, in addition to human DNA, laboratories for forensic examination of materials, substances and products will be set up.
The Ministry of Justice shall:
- place, until July 1 of this year, examination departments in Samarkand, until December 1, 2022 - in Fergana, until September 1, 2024 - in buildings that meet international standards;
- provide, until November 1, 2022, expertise department in Khorezm with the necessary equipment;
- ensure, by January 1, 2023, international recognition of the results of forensic medical examination, international accreditation of laboratories for forensic phonographic and forensic examination of documents will be carried out.
