Uzbekistan will step up cultural and humanitarian cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies. This is stipulated in the draft Roadmap of the development strategy for 2022-2026 to be implemented in 2022.
In particular, it is planned to hold major international cultural forums in cooperation with the UN and its agencies. It is also planned to attract humanitarian aid from the United Nations and to assist in ensuring the participation of representatives of the republic in major international sports competitions.
The scope of political-diplomatic and outreach activities within the UN and its specialized agencies will also be expanded.
It is also planned to organize interviews within the UN structures, prepare and publish relevant articles about Uzbekistan in foreign and local media, organize conferences, briefings, side events, road shows and "round tables" in cooperation with UN agencies.
