Officers of the State Security Service (DXX) detained two men involved in the illegal dispatch of Uzbeks to the United States. They planned to send them to the United States along the Uzbekistan-Turkey-Bolivia-Colombia-Mexico-USA route.
Two citizens, 36 and 30, living in the Samarkand district, promised two residents of Samarkand city to organize their departure to the United States, for which they demanded $ 30 thousand from each. They were detained in an operational red-handedly while receiving 20 thousand US dollars as upfront payment.
“The detainees instructed the two men that before departure, they must each take negative PCR test certificates and VISA cards with 4 thousand US dollars with them, as well as the need to comply with the instructions of guides in each of these countries, in particular, when crossing the Amazon River, flowing through Colombia and passing through the forests of Mexico, ”- the DXX said.
In addition, during the operation, the detainees were found to have copies of the passports of more than 60 citizens.
At present, a criminal case has been launched on this fact under the relevant article of the Criminal Code, with investigation underway.
