A press conference was held at the Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Presidential Administration on December 20, 2021 at 16-00, which aimed at informing about the ongoing process of selling the non-core assets of Avtosanoat Invest LLC. Q&A session was organized at the end of the press conference.

The speakers at the press conference were:

• Bobozhonov Kodirjon Abdurakhimovich - General Director of Avtosanoat Invest LLC
• Bibutova Shakhlo Sagdullayevna - Head of the department of corporate and property relations of "Uzavtosanoat" JSC
• Islamov Doniyor Bakhtiyorovich - General Director of RB Asia LLC
• Khodzhayev Mukhiddin Allayarovich - Deputy Head of the State Unitary Enterprise "Center for the Organization of Electronic Online Auctions"

"One of the goals of the press conference is to discuss and inform the public about the ongoing transparent process of selling non-core assets."

The press conference was opened by Bobozhonov Kodirjon, General Director of Avtosanoat Invest LLC. He spoke about the purpose of the event and the work that had been done to sell non-core assets. It was noted that the purpose of the event was to create conditions for the exchange of information, disseminate information about tenders. In addition, it was indicated that this conference will acquaint potential buyers with the steps, mechanisms of trading processes and provide more information about the assets through the media channels.

Shakhlo Bibutova, head of the department of corporate and property relations of Uzavtosanoat JSC, made a speech on the need to use modern market mechanisms to maintain competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets.

Further, Doniyor Islamov, Director General of the international investment consulting company RB Asia LLC, spoke about the role of RB ASIA in the sale of assets, as well as that the implementation process will take place according to the best international business practices based on the principles of transparency, honesty and using information technology.

Mukhiddin Khodjayev, Deputy Head of the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Organization of Electronic Online Auction”, spoke about the e-auksion.uz platform. The objectives of the platform, as well as the processes and mechanisms of participation in the auction, including the rules of participation for local and foreign investors.

Further, at the press conference, the exposed non-core assets of UzAuto were also presented and their potential for buyers was indicated.

At the moment, Avtosanoat Invest has already put up 5 non-core assets at the online auction on e-auksion.uz.
