President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Establishment of additional days off during celebration of official dates and moving days off in 2022 Decree Monday.

For proper recreation of citizens the Decree has established the following additional days off:

January 3 - Monday;

March 22 - Tuesday;

March 23 - Wednesday;

July 11 - Monday;

September 2 - Friday.

For employees with a six-day work week:

January 4 - Tuesday;

May 4 - Wednesday;

May 5 - Thursday;

July 12 - Tuesday;

September 3 - Saturday;

December 31 - Friday.

Also days-off in 2022 for workers with five-day work week were rescheduled as follows:

from January 8 (Saturday) - to January 4 (Tuesday);

from May 7 (Saturday) - on May 4 (Wednesday);

from May 14 (Saturday) - on May 5 (Thursday);

from July 16 (Saturday) - to July 12 (Tuesday).

Thus, due to additional non-working days and the transfer of weekends during the New Year celebrations, the Uzbeks will rest for 5 days (from December 31 to January 4).
