The Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to sign from the Russian side an agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and Russia on the opening of representative offices of the customs authorities of the two countries.

"Accept duly the proposal of the government of the Russian Federation to sign an agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the opening of representative offices of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan," the order said.

The Russian President instructed the country's Federal Customs Service to hold talks with Uzbekistan and sign the said agreement on behalf of the Russian government.

The agreement ensures the interaction of the customs authorities of both countries for the implementation of mutual interests of Uzbekistan and Russia in the customs field.
