On September 14, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the UK’s Minister of State for South Asia and Commonwealth Lord Tariq Ahmad, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
Reportedly, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for advancing the Uzbek-UK cooperation, as well as within the framework of international structures.
In addition, the sides exchange views on the upcoming joint events in various formats, focusing on the possibilities of enhancing trade, economic and investment ties.
They also discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, its prospects and opportunities for interaction for humanitarian assistance to this country.
