The Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Minister announced on his Telegram channel.
“We are honored to have been hosted by President of Turkiye H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Delivered the warmest greetings of the President of Uzbekistan H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev,” he said.
Bakhtiyor Saidov also met with his Turkish and Azerbaijani counterparts Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. During the talks, the parties exchanged views on the crisis in the Middle East and its regional consequences.
In Istanbul the Foreign Minister also attended the Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Turkic States, which discussed the growing threats to regional and global security and the importance of enhancing unity and coordination among Turkic countries.
