The First Deputy Foreign Minister Bahrom Alayev hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Uzbekistan Gideon Lustig Tuesday, the Dunyo said.
Reportedly, the parties exchange views on the ways to advance the ties between Uzbekistan and Israel, to enhance ties in various fields and the regional affairs.
They also exchanged views on the opportunities for consistent continuation of political and diplomatic dialogue, adding new areas of cooperation, and bringing the bilateral ties to a new level quality wise.
During the negotiations, the parties touched upon the international and regional matters, in particular, expressed considerations on the situation in the Middle East, and its impact on regional stability.
At the end of the meeting, the parties reiterated their interest in continuing mutual dialogue, further intensifying bilateral ties.
