On March 1, the Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador of the South African Republic (with residence in Ankara), Pule Malefane Isaac.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the Ambassador conveyed the credentials addressed to the President of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting the sides confirmed interest in advancing  mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Africa, primarily in the trade-economic and investment areas.

The sides also expressed confidence that the upcoming talks at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, the Ministry of Economy, UzbekNeftegaz National Holding Company, Tourism Development Committee, the Chamber of Commerce and other agencies with the Ambassador will help find common ground and reach concrete joint projects.
