Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Kelley Currie. “We had a face-to-face meeting with the Ambassador-at-Large Kelley Currie. As the Deputy Chair of the Media Foundation's Board of Trustees and the member of the Gender Equality Commission, I believe it is important to draw the public’s attention to the problems of gender equality and facilitate the self-realization for women," she said in her Telegram channel.
According to her, the parties discussed the ways to enhance the rights and opportunities for women in Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region, as well as projects that can be implemented jointly in this area.
