Komiljon Tojiboev was elected chairman of the executive committee of the Central Council of the Ecological Party, Yuksalish National Movement said.
Komiljon Tojiboev, 46, graduated from the biology faculty of Namangan State University. Prior to his election, he worked as the director of the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences.
The former chief of the Ecoparty Boriy Alikhanov, together with the former leader of the Adolat party, Nariman Umarov, were appointed members of the Senate in October by a presidential decree.
