Abdurakhim Muminov has been appointed as the first deputy adviser to the President in charge of protection of human rights and handling letters from individuals, UzA reported.
Prior to this appointment, Colonel Abdurakhim Muminov served as Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations.
In this position, he replaced Ulugbek Mukhammadiyev, who in July took charge of the Agency for Public Services under the Ministry of Justice.
Advisers to the President are in fact higher in hierarchy than ministers, and even have several deputies.
