On September 8, after a drief illness, Sergey Vyunenko, chairman of the board of Uzmetkombinat JSC, died, the company said in a statement.
The exact cause of death has not been announced.
Sergey Vyunenko was born in 1978 in the city of Pavlodar (Kazakhstan). He graduated from the Innovative University of Eurasia.
Vyunenko devoted his entire career to the metallurgical industry. He started in 1998 as a simple fitter of external pipelines at Aluminum of Kazakhstan JSC, then as an operator, steel caster, foreman of a continuous casting machine at Casting LLP.
In 2017, the trust management company SFI Management Group invited Sergei Vyunenko to the Uzbek Metallurgical Plant, where he was appointed first deputy chairman of the board/chief engineer of Uzmetkombinat, then first deputy board for production at Uzmetkombinat, and from 2020 served as chairman of the board of Uzmetkombinat.
