The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan on August 3 increased by 748 (770 a day earlier) to reach 26,301, the Ministry of Health said.
During the day, 755 patients were discharged from medical facilities, the total number of recovered rose to 17,262, or 65%.
The number of deaths , according to the Ministry of Health, reached 159. During the day, 6 deaths were reported - 2 in each of Tashkent and Tashkent province and 1 in each of Navoi and Kashkadarya provinces.
Now 8,880 people are undergoing treatment in medical institutions, 927 of them are in serious condition, 224 are extremely serious.
