The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan increased by 774, another highest daily increase, to reach 24,783, the Ministry of Health said.
On August 1, the Ministry of Health reported 6 deaths of patients with coronavirus, including 5 in Tashkent and 1 in Karakalpakstan (Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan Musa Erniyazov, who died on August 31).
The number of the recovered is at 15,299 (61%), 835 patients were discharged yesterday.
Now 9337 patients are undergoing treatment in medical institutions, 592 of them are in serious condition, while 185 are in extremely serious condition.
