Lockdown restrictions and rules in force in all regions of Uzbekistan have been revised to take into account the resumption of a number of activities, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported, citing a decision of the Special Republican Commission.

In particular, restaurants cafes, diners, pre-schools, clothing markets and others were removed from the list banned activities. The following restrictions are still kept:

  • keeping social distance of 2 m in public places;
  • ban on gathering more than three people, except for family members;
  • wearing masks and using antiseptic agents;
  • ban on the activities of educational institutions (schools, lyceums, colleges, technical schools, universities and others);
  • ban on entertainment and other facilities - discos, night clubs, spas and massage parlors, karaoke, billiard rooms, hookah rooms, computer game centers;
  • ban on concerts, cinemas and sporting events (except for training professional football clubs and Uzbekistan PFL championships in);
  • ban on public transport;
  • at bazaars and construction markets, food and non-food retailers (supermarkets and large stores), the use of body temperature measuring devices and antiseptic devices is mandatory; visitors with a temperature of 37 degrees or above are prohibited;
  • use of pyrometers, antiseptic agents and disinfection mats is mandatory in all organizations, employees must observe the principle of social distance (2 m);

From June 5, depending on the lockdown level, hotels, country houses, gyms, swimming pools, training centers, religious organizations and others will resume. And from June 15, clothing markets, cafes, restaurants, kindergartens and intercity bus services shall resume activities.
