Uzbekistan delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Elyor Ganiev held talks with Russia's Agriculture Minister, Aleksandr Tkachev in Moscow, Jahon IA said.
The sides discussed issues of further advancing of mutually beneficial cooperation in the agricultural sector.
Following the talks was signed the Protocol on cooperation for the supply of fruits and vegetables. Pursuant to the document, a simplified procedure will be introduced for phytosanitary and quarantine clearance of fruits and vegetables supplied to the Russian market from Uzbekistan.
