Starting from May 8, one of three lockdown levels will take effect in the provinces - Red, Yellow and Green. According to the decision of the Special Anti-Coronavirus Commission, in all provinces, regardless of the level of lockdown, a number of previously introduced requirements and restrictions will remain.
Mandatory requirements for all provinces:
- keeping social distance (2 meters) in public places, using face masks and antiseptic agents;
- ban on the activities of educational organizations, training courses, entertainment facilities, clothing markets and public transport;
- ban on all types of mass events, family celebrations and ceremonies (with the exception of funeral rites with the participation of not more than 10-15 people);
- the use of infrared thermometers and antiseptic agents at the entrances to markets and retail stores, measuring the body temperature of each visitor (those whose temperature is equal to or above 37 degrees, shall not be allowed to these facilites);
- the use of infrared thermometers and antiseptic agents in all organizations, maintaining social distance between employees;
- compliance with the lockdown regime and sanitary and hygienic measures at facilities where construction and repair work is underway.
Restrictions on interprovincial and intercity transportation shall remain. At the same time, employees of state bodies and institutions are allowed to come to work to provinces with Red lockdown level and depart from them (to employees of non-governmental organizations - if there is a permit issued by the employer). It is also possible to transport agricultural products grown by farmers between provinces and cities.
Restrictions in provinces with Green and Yellow lockdown level
The following restrictions are set for taxi services, hairdressers and beauty salons, as well as shopping malls in provinces with Green and Yellow lockdown level:
- taxis - the driver’s seat in the car must be protected from backseats by transparent plastic or a special film, the driver and passengers must be in medical masks (no passengers without masks shall be allowed), passengers must be in the back seat;
- hairdressers and beauty salons - employees must wear personal protective equipment (a medical gown or overalls, a medical mask (N 95 or two ordinary spunbond masks), a protective mask that completely covers the face and medical gloves, the principle of social distance “1 employee - 1 customer;
- shopping malls - strict observance of social distance, a ban on the activities of attractions, entertainment, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and playgrounds.
