As of the morning of April 10, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan increased by 42 and reached 624, the Ministry of Health said.
According to the Chief State Sanitary Inspector Nurmat Atabekov, 98 people are being treated in the clinic of Tashkent Virology Research Institute, 25 of them have pneumonia, and 9 are in serious condition.
While 110 people are being treated in the clinic of the Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Research Institute, with 5 people in serious condition.
According to Nurmat Atabekov, currently more than 86 thousand people are in stationary and home quarantine across the country.
On Thursday, over 8,200 tests for coronavirus were performed (about 9,000 a day earlier), with total tests number surpassing 90 thousand.
