The number of coronavirus cases confirmed in Uzbekistan has increased by 10 to 75 in one day, the Ministry of Health said.
In his address to the public today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that about 80 thousand people are quarantined at home and 12 thousand in hospitals.
Of the 65 infected with coronavirus, 11 are the workers of the clinic of the Virology Research Institute, he added.
According to the March 26 presidential, all medical workers infected with COVID-19 during treatment of patients will receive compensation of 100 million soums, or US$10,500.
