The Uzbek Minister of Transport, Elyor Ganiev hosted the CEO of Boeing Business Jets, Greg Lexton, the ministry said.
The parties reportedly discussed the ways to expand bilateral cooperation. Gregory Lexton underscored that Uzbekistan is the biggest owner of Boeing 787 Dreamliner in the region.
Elyor Ganiev noted that the further expansion of mutually beneficial would reportedly be beneficial for both sides.
Greg Lexton has been in charge of business jets sales in Russia and Central Asia since last year.
In 2017 the President Mirziyoyev launched an initiative to build a business aviation airport in place of former Toshkent-Sharqiy military aerodrome. The project is at its final stage and is due to be completed before 2021.
Boeing Business Jets is particularly active in the second-hand market, especially to assist customers with the resale of their aircrafts.
Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan Airways had put 4 Boeing aircrafts for sale.
