MPS today backed the candidacy of Shavkatjon Abdurazakov for the post of chairman of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, said deputy of the Liberal Democratic Party, Rasul Kusherbayev.
Shavkatjon Abdurazakov, 43, graduated from the Namangan Engineering and Technology Institute (1998) and the Academy of State and Social Construction (2006). Since July 2017, he worked as mayor of Namangan city, earlier - head of the Cabinet of Ministers’s information and analytical department for Agriculture and Water Resources, Processing of Agricultural Products and Consumer Goods (2017) and mayor of Namangan District (2015−2017).
To take office, his appointment must be signed by the President.
