Starting from March 1, 2020, the visa-free regime for Japanese nationals has been extended from 30 to 90 days, the Ministry of Justice said referring to the Feb 29 resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.
However, the visa-free does not apply to Japanese citizens entering Uzbekistan for labor, professional purposes, or permanent residence.
Earlier, Uzbekistan established a visa-free regime up to 90 days only for holders of diplomatic passports of some countries.
