Omonullo Nasritdinhojaev was appointed first deputy minister of finance, replacing Timur Ishmetov, who was appointed the мinister of finance.
Prior to this appointment, Omonullo Nasritdinhodzhayev worked as a deputy adviser to the president responsible for development of economic sectors, implementation of investment and foreign trade policies. He also worked at USM Holdings of the Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov.
Omonullo Nasritdinhodjayev, 48, graduated from Tashkent State University (1994), SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy (2002), the, and in 2016 he had advanced management courses at Harvard Business School.
As reported earlier, the former Minister of Finance, Jamshid Kuchkarov moved to the Minister of Economy role, retaining the post of Deputy PM.
