The Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe is planning to visit Uzbekistan. The specific dates will be agreed before the end of 2020.
According to the “road map” approved by the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the parties will hold the 18th round of inter-MFA consultations until October. After that, specific timelines and agenda for the visit of the Japanese Prime Minister should be agreed.
Note: As part of his visit to Japan in December last year, the Uzbek leader invited Shinzo Abe to visit Uzbekistan. Then the parties signed the Joint Statement on further deepening and expanding strategic partnership ties, intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, as well as investment agreements and trade contracts.
