The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the celebration of the 75th anniversary of victory in the Second World War (WWII) on May 9, 2020. The Uzbek leader accepted the invitation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the First Deputy Foreign Minister, Ilkhom Nematov told to RIA Novosti.
Vladimir Putin has already invited the US President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, President of Ukraine Volodymir Zelensky, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, UN Secretary General António Guterres, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French Defense Minister Florence Parly.
