UzLITIneftegaz design company, a Uzbekneftegaz subsidiary, and the South Korean companies Daesan NDE and Samyoung Material Inspection Technology have set up a non-destructive testing laboratory that can detect defects in pipelines in the Uzbekistan’s oil and gas sector, Uzbekneftegaz said.
The country's only non-destructive testing lab is reportedly equipped with the most modern materials and equipment, as well as techniques for performing works and processing results.
At the laboratory, Uzbek specialists will be trained on the latest developments in the field of control and operation of accident prevention process systems, the company added.
