An agreement was signed between the National Project Management Agency (NPMA) under the President of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Security and Public Administration of the Republic of Korea on the establishment of Uzbek-Korean E-government and Digital Economy Cooperation Center In Sejong (Republic of Korea) Tuesday.

As per the document, the Korean Ministry will provide US$ 2 million in grant for the development of the e-government in Uzbekistan and will also field three experts in the e-government and digital economy to work full time in the Center for a period of three years.

The official opening ceremony of the Center will take place in late January 2020.
