On November 20, Delhi hosted the high-level meeting between the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Pulat Bobodjonov and Minister of Internal Affairs of India, Amit Shah, the Uzbek Interior Ministry said.

The parties reportedly discussed prospects of adancing interministerial cooperation, focusing on the fight against transnational organized crime, illicit drug trafficking, terrorism, human trafficking and illegal migration, as well as prompt information exchange.

Following the talks, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of India signed a Cooperation Agreement in the fight against transnational organized crime and international terrorism.
