Mansion belonging to the former Prosecutor General, Rashid Qodirov has been put up for sale on E-ijro auction platform. The starting price of the lot is 10,007,940,000 soums, or over US$ 1 million.
The 840 square meter duplex with ten rooms is located on the prestigious Sadaf street in Tashkent’s Mirzo-Ulugbek district. The mansion is registered in the name of Qodirov’s wife.
Bids will be accepted until November 23, while the auction will be held on November 25.
In June of this year Rashid Qodirov was sentenced to ten years in prison for corruption and abuse of power. The court also ruled him to pay 100 million soums, or US$ 10,000.
