Uzbekistan wants to complete the negotiations and join the WTO as soon as possible, as well as to sign the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) with the European Union. While, the minister Kamilov did not rule out that the PCA with the EU could be signed next year.

In July 2019, the Uzbek authorities submitted to the WTO the revised memorandum on the applicant’s foreign trade regime to join the organization.
