On October 8, Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Approval of Uzbekistan’s Higher Education System Development Concept Until 2030 Decree.
The Concept provides for the creation of a Presidential University in Uzbekistan.
In order to expand the higher education coverage, improve the quality of graduate training, it is planned to set up a Presidential University as a leading center of education and science, preparing highly professional personnel with modern knowledge and skills combined with international standards and national traditions, says the decree.
Earlier, on February 20, Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed Measures for Establishing Presidential Schools. The main goal of presidential schools is to educate gifted children of Uzbekistan using advanced technologies in the educational process, promote talented youth, as well as their further support.
